The school uses public water, and pays exorbitantly for water use. The girls wash their own clothes, which is challenging for the younger students to achieve a good standard of cleanliness and wastes precious resources of the school. In order to bring the school to a higher standard in dealing with their growing numbers of students each year, industrial washing machines are needed. The cost for two large industrial machines is $12,000, and presently $2,000 of this has been raised. $10,000 more is needed.
