Meet Boonyaporn Thapchoo, Head of Student Affairs

At Dhammajarinee Witthaya School, every member of the team plays a vital role in guiding girls toward brighter, more independent futures. Among them is Boonyaporn Thapchoo, whose quiet leadership and deep compassion have touched the lives of countless students over the past twelve years.

When Boonyaporn first visited Dhammajarinee over a decade ago, she wasn’t looking for a new job—she was simply stopping by to see a friend who taught there. But what she found left a deep impression.

"There was warmth, kindness, and a genuine sense of purpose in everything the teachers were doing. When I was later offered a position by our Director, I didn’t hesitate. I knew this was where I wanted to grow—and where I could use my experience to help others.”

Since joining in 2013, Boonyaporn has led the Student Affairs Department, guiding students through their academic, personal, and social development. She also oversees Registration and Evaluation, as well as serving on the School Administration team, ensuring that every student’s journey is carefully supported from their first day to graduation.

“What inspires me most about Dhammajarinee is the clarity of its vision,” she says. “Every decision, every activity, and every lesson is centered on what will best serve the students. There’s a shared intention to help them grow into strong, capable, and compassionate individuals—and I feel proud to be part of that mission.”

Her work allows her to see students’ transformations up close.

“From the moment they arrive, we watch them develop confidence, curiosity, and resilience. Seeing that growth into young women ready to contribute to society inspires me to give my best every day.”

Boonyaporn also expressed heartfelt appreciation for everyone who supports the school’s mission.

"I would like to express my deepest thanks to all our supporters. Every contribution, large or small, directly helps us provide better care, learning, and more opportunities for the girls, as well as strengthen the work of the teachers and staff.”
