National Recognition for DWS

At Dhammajarinee Witthaya School, we believe education should go beyond academics and help each girl grow in knowledge, character, compassion, resilience, and responsibility.

That is why we are delighted to share that our School Director, Dr. Aunampai Passakchai, was recently honored by the Ministry of Education through the “Good Person Challenge: A Good Person Worth Celebrating” initiative.

The recognition was presented under the theme:

“Strong values build people. People build organizations. And organizations create a culture where integrity can thrive.”

These words have special meaning for our school.

The name Dhammajarinee Witthaya can be understood as “a woman who follows the path of truth and virtue through knowledge.” For 36 years, our compassionate and visionary director has helped shape the school around these values, ensuring that character and responsibility remain central to the education our girls receive.

On September 25, Dr. Passakchai joined education leaders at the Ministry of Education in Bangkok for a ceremony honoring individuals and organizations recognized for integrity, ethical leadership, transparency, and service.

We are grateful to celebrate this recognition with Dr. Passakchai and for the example she continues to set for our students.
