At Dhammajarinee Witthaya School, the impact of education is often seen most clearly after our students graduate—when they step into the world and begin to shape their futures.
Now in its third year, the Logan’s Journey Fund continues to generously support exceptional students from each graduating class, helping them complete their university degrees by easing both tuition and living costs. The reports we receive from these students are incredibly moving—and today, we wanted to share one with you.
One of our graduates, Pemika, now in her third year at Khon Kaen University, majoring in Social Development, recently reflected on a moment that changed her path—and her belief in herself.
This year, while focusing on her internship at the Government Savings Bank, she came across an essay competition at her university offering a scholarship for a study visit to Singapore.
“I felt both excited and anxious,” she said.
She knew how competitive it would be. She wasn’t sure how far she would go—but she chose to try.
“For me, simply participating was already a valuable experience.”
So she wrote.
When the results were announced, she prepared herself for any outcome.
Then came the news—Pemika had been selected.
“To be chosen was something I will never forget. It made me realize that I am capable of achieving goals I once thought were beyond my reach.”
Soon after, she stood on the campus of the National University of Singapore—an experience that deepened her ambition to continue her studies at the Master’s level in the future.
Her words express the gratitude we all feel: “I would like to thank the Logan’s Journey Fund for supporting the dreams of all of us.”
Because of Logan’s Journey, Pemika and many of our graduates each year have the opportunity to complete their university education—and, in moments like these, discover what they are truly capable of achieving.
