Dhammajarinee is grateful to have received a donation from the Australian Chamber of Commerce—one of Thailand’s most active and diverse foreign chambers, founded in 1977. In addition to promoting business relations between Australia and Thailand, they contribute to a range of social and charitable programs throughout the country.
The donation was used to purchase four desktop computers for the school’s makerspace—an initiative led by esteemed Australian STEM expert Dr. Stuart Kohlhagen. The desktops are installed next to the school’s four laser cutters, enabling students to easily participate in advanced manufacturing projects and develop important 21st-century skills. Dhammajarinee joyfully welcomed AustCham last October and looks forward to their return. The school also had the opportunity to present a thank-you video at AustCham’s Sundowners event this month, which was attended by hundreds of business leaders connected to AustCham in Thailand.
