Active Learning Seminar

The school recently organized a two-day Active Learning training program with expert Dr. Kanchit Manoonpol, aimed at expanding the progressive Active Learning method at Dhammajarinee. The training involved 65 teachers who actively participated in lively activities and discussions. Active learning develops students' critical thinking skills by making connections between concepts, practicing reasoning, and applying problem-solving strategies. The hands-on “Learning by Doing” approach has measurable academic outcomes: 90% of students remember what they do, and 70% recall what they say and write. Perhaps most importantly, the enjoyable process helps foster students’ desire for lifelong learning. Overall, the two-day program was a great success, and teachers are now equipped with the necessary tools to effectively implement Active Learning in their classrooms.
