At Dhammajarinee Witthaya School, the Primary Level is where young girls begin to build the foundation of their futures—developing not only academic skills, but also confidence, resilience, and a sense of belonging. Guiding this important stage is Supattra Petchkong, Head of Primary School, whose thoughtful leadership and genuine care for each student continue to shape a nurturing and dynamic learning environment.

Supattra’s journey into education began not in a classroom, but at home. She spent many years caring for and supporting her parents—an experience that instilled in her a deep sense of patience, responsibility, and compassion. These values now define the way she leads and supports her students every day.

Her introduction to Dhammajarinee came through a friend who was already working at the school.

“My friend told me about the school’s strong sense of purpose and the supportive atmosphere here. When I had the opportunity to join, I felt this was where I truly belonged.”

Since joining the school, Supattra has been inspired by its ongoing commitment to growth and improvement.

“Even though we are a charity school, we never stop improving. We continue to develop our teaching so our students receive a modern education and are ready for the world beyond school.”

Under her leadership, the Primary School has achieved a significant milestone—receiving Royal recognition in acknowledgment of its educational quality and development. This reflects not only academic progress, but also the strength of a learning environment built on care, discipline, and opportunity.

Today, the Primary Department serves over 300 students across 12 classrooms, supported by a dedicated team of teachers who focus on student-centered learning, moral development, and life skills. Through active learning and continuous innovation, students are encouraged to think independently, build confidence, and grow into capable young individuals.

For Supattra, however, the most meaningful moments are often the quiet, personal ones.

“One experience I will never forget is supporting a student with learning difficulties. Over time, she was able to keep up with her classmates—but what meant the most was that she began to trust me. She opened up, became more confident, and found happiness in learning. Seeing that change in her was something very special to me.”

It is these moments—when a child begins to believe in herself—that continue to inspire her work each day.

She also shared her heartfelt gratitude to those who make this work possible.

“I would like to sincerely thank all of our supporters. Your support is not only financial—it creates opportunities for these children to have a new life through education. Because of you, they are able to grow, graduate, and step forward into the world with confidence and dignity.”

Through her compassion, dedication, and leadership, Supattra Petchkong reflects the heart of Dhammajarinee Witthaya School—a place where education goes beyond the classroom, opening doors and transforming lives.
