In a Mind Map competition the students hear a 30 minute speech and take notes in a special format where content is displayed in visually pleasing way, starting at the center of the page and proceeding outward. Students are required to use images and colors as well as text and if you take notes in a linear fashion you are disqualified. See here some of the beautiful results by DWS students!

Incredible News: The New Classroom Building is Funded!

Thanks to the generosity of a supporter who offered a special matching donation, and thanks also to the dedication of the nuns at Dhammajarinee Witthaya School, DWS now has all the funds needed to complete the new classroom building! This is really wonderful news and will allow the school to help many, many more girls--girls who otherwise would have very limited opportunities for even the most basic education.
It is expected that the building will be completed by the start of the new school year, which in Thailand is May. And of course, along with the increased number of students will come other needs, such as desks, school supplies, housing, and more. But before we move on to all that, we wanted to take a moment to thank everyone who has contributed toward the new classroom building. Your support of the school-- whether by spreading the word, sending prayers and good thoughts, or making monetary donations-- is sincerely and greatly appreciated. Thank you.
